Ode to Newstead is a visual exploration into the unique industrial and historical heritage of a Nottinghamshire ex-mining village. Built in the shadow of Newstead Abbey, once home to the early 19th Century romantic poet Lord Byron, the Village of Newstead was built a short distance away to accommodate the workers and families of the surrounding colliery sites.
